Cultur3 Stake’s vision is an internet owned and governed by many rather than a few people.
Cultur3 Stake is as an elite, boutique firm operating servers to help emerging projects bootstrap new, decentralized internet infrastructure.
Cultur3 Stake’s mission, or reason why it exists, is to operate servers that advance a more open, fairer, yet more private internet that works for people and not just for profit.
Put people first.
Be in it for decades.
Do good and do well.
Cultur3 Stake was founded by Rolf Hoefer and two anons wanting to build a better internet where people come first. Being the only public person, here's Rolf's relevant background: Rolf started in blockchain with his PhD in Organizational Theory at INSEAD in 2011, where his dissertation focused on tokens and organizations. Today, Rolf is a core contributor to MetaCartel Ventures DAO, a partner at a VC firm called Cultur3 Capital, and a co-founder at an educational institute called 100X. Rolf has been involved in many NFT, DeFi, and Public Goods DAOs, including Public Nouns, Rarible, Cream, and Metagov. He is writing a book on DAOs, following up on his co-authored book NFT Revolution that sold over 100,000 copies in South Korea. He frequently speaks about DAOs, NFTs, and Web3, most recently at Stanford, Harvard, and KAIST.
